Description

GoVenture simulations include extensive resources to help you get started quickly and confidently.
 
Before you begin
 
Videos and Guides
Most GoVenture simulations include the following resources, which are accessible from your GoVenture menu and also freely available on www.GoVenture.net.  Start with these:
  • 1-minute demonstration video
  • Training video
  • Software User Guide (Adobe PDF)
  • Instructor Guide (Adobe PDF)
In the Simulation
 
QuickStart
When you start a GoVenture simulation, you may want to consider choosing a QuickStart (where available) instead of making all startup decisions.  This will allow you to dive into a simulation sooner than if you had to make all the startup decisions.
 
Tour/Walkthrough
Once the simulation begins, you may be prompted with a Tour/Walkthrough window.  It is helpful to follow this tour.
 
Step-by-Step Window
Some simulations include Step-by-Step windows that identify and guide you through key tasks to accomplish.
 
Directions and Help
Each main screen includes directions on the options available to you in the context of that screen.  Additional help is also available by clicking the orange (?) help buttons when they appear.
 
Advisor
The advisor window provides subject-related advice in context with what you are currently doing.  Advisor help is intended to improve your performance, not to explain how to use the software (which is what some of the other help resources do).
 
Performance Report
Simulations include a variety of reports to assess your performance, including a Performance Evaluation Report.
 
Additional Resources
 
Success Guide
Some simulations include brief Success Guides to help you identify common challenges and solutions to improving your overall performance.  These guides can be found on GoVentureOasis.com and GoVenture.net
 
Experiencing Book, Learning Guides and Activities, Test Bank
Instructors may have access to a variety of print and online resources to supplement the subject area covered by the simulation.
