Infographic resumes have been becoming more common, especially amongst designers.  An infographic resume is basically a visual representation of an individual's education, experience, and interests.  

With an increasingly competitive job market, an infographic resume might be one way to help you stand out as a prospective job candidate.  

When designing an infographic resume it is important to stay focused. Trying to display too much data can overwhelm the viewer.  Ask yourself what is important to communicate to the viewer.  Also, think carefully about the best way to display your information.  There are a lot of options from which to choose:  bar graphs, pie charts, timelines, graphs, etc.  

Educators might have students create an infographic resume as a classroom activity.
